As part of some business continuity work during COVID-19 we had to massively increase the number of users for one of our installs.

It was all done in a bit of a hurry and the time has now come to tidy up that work.

We need to clear out any users that have not logged in for more than a certain period (say a month). Many of the users do not work directly for us and may have moved on or no longer require access. There are hundreds of them, including quite a lot of casual workers, spanning 22 different partner organisations so a 'proper' reconcilliation is potentially a large job - we want to cull everything we reasonably can first to make that a more managable task.

tl;dr - I was hoping for some ideas of how to easily identify users that have not logged in for some time.

Hi @Lee Cramman

You can generate a report that will show which agents logged in for the last month or using a custom date range depending on your needs, however, the report can only be generated for queues, meaning if the agents were not part of the queue you will not be able to see if they logged in or not.

To do so from the Management Console go to Reporting >> Reports >> under "Type" and choose the "Agent log in history".

On the bottom of the page, Select the Queue >> Click on the + Add Agents >> Click Schedule Report.

If you would like to see which agents logged in to the WebClient or the Desktop app and are not part of any queue, please note that this is not possible.

Export all users and make a list of extensions
Run a call report for whatever period and compare the extension list to the caller/called list

Now you should have a list to review of possible "unused" extensions.

Thanks for the response. Sadly, they would not be using queues. Sorry, I wasn't very specific by saying 'Logged in'. I'm interested in identifying where the app (iOS / Android) has / has not been "Ready for calls" within a certain time period, whether or not they made or took any calls.

An 'Extension Statistic Report' shows you the incoming and outgoing calls of extensions. Users that no longer use it should have (close to) 0 calls. That should give you an idea.
