With past versions of 3CX, we used to be able to export to a CSV all IM's between employees for use in Human Resource investigations when sometimes also get used if a lawsuit is brough. Can't find where to do that now. This is important because we have had multiple cases where one employee is talking bad about the other via IM and a copy of the messages gets requested as part of an investigation.

Hi, from dashboard you may enable the chat log

Then, from the report menu click on chat logs

You may export the file via csv

Then, if you need to review a specific chat, you may click on this icon and export it.

Thanks! One request for dev please, if you could make it like v18 where we didn't have to open every chat message one at a time. That takes a ton of time and in v18, it was just a couple of mouse clicks and we had everything. Thanks agian.

Np, you are welcome!

The biggest complaint we face is the reporting of 3cx chat logs is by start date of the message/conversation chain.

If User X started a conversation chain with User Y 3 months ago, the web viewer will not display today's exchanged messages, as the filter and display uses the chat conversation/flow initiated date. This is a real issue for attempting to locate reports and audit.

@KyriacosS_3CX Is there any chance for improvements to the Chat Reports with the above in mind, being able to find chats that have been open for a while.

@cmp1 , there is always scope for improvements. I would suggest adding a post in the ideas forum with a storyline/breakdown of what report(s) you would like to see, and what their use would be for, to help us understand and prioritise.
