Hi, I wondered if anyone can help me. The challenge I have is all our incoming calls are presented as the telephone number as +44 then the number missing off the 0, so if you missed the call and want to return the call back, the system dials the number presented but when it gets to our SIP provider it has stripped off the +44 and the 0. So a mobile number starting 07 for instance will be presented as 7 being the first number, therefore being seen as Russia.
I have looked over the system and found in the SIP trunk settings I can append a 0 to calls, this then adds the 0 on to any missed call, however, if i type a UK telephone number in from scratch or copy from an address book, it adds the 0 to a number already starting with 0 and ends up 001 or 007 for example.
I could see if my SIP provide can present our inbound calls with a 0 perhaps but currently we are waiting to see if we need to change SIP providers.
We have another SIP provider in our configuration for 3 other companies who do not have this issue, the config is exactly the same. Again pending decisions to move but this would cause DDI's. configuration changes to be made which would be a disruption at present.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in da
