Hi all,

I have some issues with configuring my inbound call routes and I'm sure it's a simple thing i've overlooked.

I have set up the SIP Trunk on the system, and it's working but all of my DID's no matter if they are assigned to a user, route to one extension.

You can see below, there are 2 numbers listed in the trunk, and it says under route to: 21011 which, it is doing. However in the settings for the SIP trunk under DID's I've added the second number and assigned it to 21010, but it still doesn't route to that EXT, it still routes to 21011.

Do I need to add each number as a new trunk and set the default route to the extension I want it to go to? Seems wrong to me.

Thanks
Matt

Open your trunk configuration and see in the DIDs tab where these are allocated.

To allocate a DId in Version 20, you just need to go into the user and select the DID.

The screenshot you provided just shows the DIDs allocated to the trunk and its main route destination, not that the DIDs are assigned to that location.

Thank you for getting back to me, but I've still got the same issue:

So I've attached the DID to the extension and on the DID's tab in the SIP trunk it is assigned to the user. But when I call it, it still goes to 21011 :(

This is what it shows in the SIP trunk config window, if I change that it then diverts all the numbers to whichever extension I select there....

Matt, did you ever figure this out? I'm new to 3CX and setting up a new locally hosted instance and I get the same exact results you did. Hoping you can provide a solution!

Usually DID formatting is wrong and thus 3CX uses the default route on the trunk.

I always recommend leaving the default route to End Call. This way, when a DID is set correctly, you'll know instantly.
