I hope this is the correct area to post this question. I'm using Flowroute in the US as my SIP trunk provider. My inbound caller ID is working, I would just like it to be formatted differently, and I'm having trouble figureing out exactly where/what I need to change in 3CX. I would like to remove the SIP trunk name. For example, an inbound call might be labeled as "ADP:Flowroute - Main Line +1973xxxxxxx". That is correct from the standpoint that ADP did call and the inbound number is listed, but for some reason the system also puts the SIP trunk name "Flowroute - Main Line" in the middle of the caller ID string. The missed calls and voicemail notifications are labeled like this as well. How can I have the caller name and phone number but leave out of the SIP trunk name from the inbound caller ID? It seems like this is probably controlled in SIP Trunk > Inbound Parameters or SIP Trunk > Caller ID, I just don't know exactly what to change.

The Group, Queue, or DID name is being added to the caller ID. This feature can be turned off, universally, but that will affect all names that have been added, for all users, If you want the feature to remain for some uses, then you will need to find where that particular name is (being added), then shorten, or remove it.

This thread deals with this topic..
