Hello,

I need to map several DID's from my ISP to all my extensions, how can I do that with one rule?

For example...I have the numbering 223 234 100 - 223 234 199, and all my extensions are from 100 to 199. How can I match the last 3 digits to route the calls to the extension.
Someone calls 223 234 105, I receive 4105 from the ISP, and I need the call to go to 105 extension. Do I need to create 100 different inbound rules to do that match?

Thanks...

Hi There

Please see this guide on how to configure DID's so that they are matched by the system so to direct the calls to specific destinations: http://www.3cx.com/docs/trunk-management/#h.nusclef3pffi

The best way ring multiple phones from one DID is to create either Ring Groups or Call Queues: http://www.3cx.com/docs/ring-groups-paging-intercom/
http://www.3cx.com/docs/call-queues/

I already looked at those links.
But the idea is not to ring multiple destinations, is to match all incoming calls by the last 3 digits.

From what I see I'll have to create 100 inbound rules, like:

4100 - 100
4101 - 101
4102 - 102
....
4199 - 199.

Do you know what I mean?

Hi

In this case you will have to create each one with its own inbound rule but it is not a good idea to match the last 3 digits only as this will create conflicts within the system, you should match with at least 5 so:

*34101 - 101
*34102 - 102

You may need to ask your provider to increase the number of digits they send.

Ok...that was what I was afraid of :)

No problem...I import all the inbound rules.

The ISP already sends all the digits...I was just saying this as an example!

Thank you very much!
