In V18, we have inbound rules for DIDs that go to different Users(Extensions) based on In or Out of office. With V20 doing away with the inbound rules, and moving this to Extensions, how will this work when the DID is linked to 2 different extensions?
We do this because during office hours, our operator answers the calls, and during out-of-office hours, they are forwarded to an answering service. I didn't set it up, this is how it was when I took control of the system.
Rant:
I'm already making a lot of changes to our system to work with V20, since so many previously usable options are no longer usable. It's really getting stupid on all the changes that have to be made. I've never had a system update lose so many features that customers relied on, like the ability to dial a number and set out of office. Or have multiple email address to send a notification too. I know this one went away with V18, but I still have a large number of extensions that have this, and work just fine. The system maintainer should have the ability to turn this off or on, based on the customers needs.
