We have 3cx Hosted By 3cx v18 Update 3 Build 461
During the day calls ring a Queue Group which works fine.
As the office closes random times I set up button on phone to manually set In Office & Out Office for the system as everyone would be there or not be there at the same time only 2 people. This works fine as you get the prompt from system for open/closed
On Inbound rules for the various DDI numbers they have calls go to Queue group and ring as expected when In Office set, Out office the Inbound rule was told go to external number xyz we
know this number is valid because if you ring it manually it rings but when system is in closed mode incoming caller gets engaged tone activity log shows
[Flow] Target endpoint for 07xxxxxxx cannot be built!
I know outbound rules is fine because we can dial the number manually.
Got around it by using a dummy extension number in Closed for the DDI's Inbound Rule, setting the forwarding rules for that extension to ring the mobile number required and that worked
Just curious why first set up didn't work for future reference.
