Hi there,

one of my clients is really happy with his 3CX but there is one vital function missing for him. He would like to use his 3CX contacts as the main directory for his addresses. Unfortunately there is no field to include physical addresses to the contact list.
I tried to use the "Other" field but it is limited to 20 characters. Is anyone aware of a workaround for this?
The only alternative I can see is having two lists which isn't really feasible.
Are there any plans on implementing this?

Greetings,
Moram

The 20 character limit may be the result of the limitations of many set displays. I'm not certain that that 3CX directory was created as a replacement for something like Outlook.

Thanks @leejor
It's just disappointing because 3CX is almost there having a proper address book.
As far as I know these fields don't show up on the phones anyway, at least that seems to be the case with Snom devices. It's also quite annoying that the device (M25 handset) only shows mobile numbers if you dial locally. If the phone book entry has a landline number you can't find it on the handset.
By the way, how do I hand in a feature update? I've entered the "Ideas" area but I supposedly don't have enough privilege to post anything.
