I am having an issue where I am able to receive calls on my Unidata SIP phone, but when I pick it up, the other extensions continue to ring, the extension which was picked up shows that the call is connected, but without any voice/noise, and the caller (in this case my cellphone), continues to hear the phone ringing.

I saw a similar post on 3CX forums:

https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/phone-still-ringing-after-answer.66439/

I wanted to know if this issue was resolved, and if so, how it was resolved. Is there any setting that I can change to make this phone work?

Please find the ICW-1000G settings parameters on this website:

I await your earliest response.

Thanking you,

The post you referred to was never a true issue. Someone was using a unsupported provider and the issues can be limitless. However, in your case, it could simply be a config in the phone OR a simple incompatibility with 3CX.

You could simply use a supported phone and you wouldn't have issues. Otherwise, maybe someone here used that phone before but I doubt it, I never seen that name on the forum.

Also, the link you posted doesn't work. It says "Forbidden".

I apologize for the bad link. Perhaps this link will work.

The reason I pointed you to the previous link was because I am also based out of Japan, and the person who was having a similar issue was also based out of Japan. Let me know if this link works and if you think some configuration settings could change the way the phone sends out a message that the phone has been picked up and to connect the call.

Hi Sahil,

This model is not supported so it has not been tested to work with 3CX.

The issue could be anything from networking, to SIP configuration, but unless you are willing to delve into SIP capture and analysis, I would suggest using a supported DECT phone from this list:
