I'm seeking guidance on managing calls for a customer where unanswered calls or those during office closure hours need to be redirected to an external number. We've configured this aspect successfully. However, the challenge arises from our use of Twilio for the VoIP trunk.
I've enabled SIP REFER with Twilio, but I'm encountering difficulties setting it up with 3CX. Our goal is to transfer the call while preserving the original caller ID to the third-party number. To address this, I've attempted to configure the "From: Display Name" and "Remote Party ID" to "OriginatorCallerId." Unfortunately, these adjustments haven't yielded the desired results, as test calls still display our company's main number.
Could anyone offer suggestions or insights on resolving this issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I have absolutely no issue in moving over to another provider if needed. This setup is for Review Wave, and will need to have the entire call transferred to them along with the callers ID. They use bandwidth, and if it has a better success rate with this well jump.
