Solved Incoming call ringing through PC speakers rather than Jabra Pro headset (whilst using Web Client).

Hi all, is there a way I can make incoming calls ring through my PC speakers rather than my Jabra Pro headset (whilst using Web Client)? Many thanks. Dave.

Yes, my settings only offer me option of using the Headset for all audio.

As in the speakers aren't a choice in the dropdowns? Are they selectable in Windows' sound settings (do they work in Windows)?
Note if you're using the Chrome extension it has its own settings under the extension's menu->Settings.

Thanks for your questions.
Yes the PC speakers are not an option once my headset is plugged in (I see a red no entry like sign which prevents me from selecting the drop down options)...



Windows sound setting allows me to select either PC speakers for all audio (which do work) or Jabra headset for all audio. It does not allow me to select PC speakers for ringing and Jabra headset for audio.

The 3CX Chrome extension does not have any audio options...



This could be an issue for me as I've just moved one of our customers with 40 users from Swyx to 3CX and they have the same Jabra headsets as I and want to use the 3CX Web Client with ringing coming through pc speakers.

Am I missing something?
Does anyone manage to achieve ringing through pc speakers and audio through Jabra headsets?

In the Chrome Extension, click the three bars in the far upper left to show the menu, then click Settings, then Personalize. Scroll down to see all the audio settings. I have Ringer different from Speaker or Microphone. The type of audio device doesn't affect the settings.

I was not aware of this facility within the 3CX extension.
