Incoming caller ID showing "Reception Group"

Hi,

I setup a IVR and in there i set it to ring to a "Reception Group". So phone call come in and it ring to reception group. But on the phone it show reception group. How do i make it so when calls come in it show the caller ID of the caller? Anyway to do this? Should I not use group?

You can turn off the option to append or prepend the group, queue or DID name.

Go to Advanced >> Contacts >> Options and choose Do not add.

thank you so much!!! didn't know they have this option. . Doing that now and see if caller ID will come directly into the display.. thank you again!!

Do let us know how it goes.

In case you do want the Group name in there do note that you can actually have the name appended instead of prepended so that the Caller ID is shown at the beginning instead of the end probably making it easier to see.
