Hi all,
after the update to the newest "stable" 3CX V 16.05.389 today, our previously perfect working trunk showed the same problems as I had last time - Any incoming calls did ring on the internal extension but it could not be picked up. The last time's working remedy with setting the trunk to SIPS (which is not supported by our provider) and then back, didn't resolve this problem this time.

Therefore I deleted the non-functioning trunk and did re-create it (it is an official 3cx-supported provider - Sipcall).

As a result, the calls do now come through again - but they always land on the trunk's main number according to the 3cx log.

If I do a packet sniff with MS network monitor, I can see that the provider sends the correct DID but somehow the 3CX does not recognize it and thinks that the call was destined for the main number.

I called from my Mobile from the outside to xxx08 but in the log it is shown that the call was going to xxx00 (the main number).

In the Inbound parameters of this new trunk, I have set it to: To: User Part

But 3CX seems not to recognize this and is picking the number from the Contact in the SIP message.

How can I further troubleshoot this?

Any help is very much appreciated.

With kind regards,

John

Hi all,

I have found the problem - Somehow when I deleted the "damaged" trunk, this action also has reset the inbound rules for each DID to point to the main number extension. As soon as I had this corrected, the calls landed again at the correct destination.

Problem solved :-)

I leave this information here in case someone else runs into the same problem.

With kind regards,

John
