Incoming queue calls show queue name in caller ID – 3CX Free V20 Update 8

Hello,

I am using 3CX Free on Version 20 Update 8 (Build 1121).

We have noticed that incoming calls to a queue are now displayed with a colon and the queue name, instead of only showing the phone number as before.

For example, it now shows something like:
: Queue Name
or the queue name together with the number.

I am quite sure that previously it only showed the caller’s phone number, without the queue name in front of it.

We see this behavior in:

• the 3CX mobile app
• the desktop softphone
• the Admin/Panel view

My question is:
Is this expected behavior in 3CX Free / SMB for V20 Update 8, or has something changed recently?

And if this is controlled by the setting for adding the Group / Queue / DID name to Caller ID:
is that setting available in the Free version, or is it locked in Free / SMB?

I would like to know whether:

1. this is normal behavior,
2. this changed in a recent update,
3. or whether there is any way to disable the queue name and show only the incoming number again.
