Incorrect Caller ID on Twinned Mobile

Hi Guys,

Strange scenario happening on a customers phone system when setting an extension to ring mobile simultaneously.

If an external call rings the DID of say extension 1000 the mobile shows the external CLI correctly
if extension 1000 rings an external mobile it shows the correct Company CLI on the mobile

Heres the problem if Extension 1001 rings 1000 the twinned mobile shows a completely wrong CLI, Sometimes the SIP Bearer number sometimes just 0 1001

Any clues?

Ideally i would like it to show the associated DID of the extension or even just the Company set CLI

That depends on how your trunk is setup and what is set under your extension as Outbound caller ID.
If you provider supports clip no screening and the trunk is setup correctly then the originator caller ID will be displayed. If you want to only show the outbound caller ID that is set under the extensions settings then you will need to adjust your trunk accordingly.
The activity log of the PBX will be your ally on this one as you can use it to follow the call and see what the PBX is sending to the provider.
Also if you are familiar with wireshark you can use it to see the exact call flow.
