Initiate Multicast Page via Softphone

Is there a way to initiate a multicast page via the 3CX Windows softphone in a hosted setup?
Even better would be if you could do this in CTI mode.
The setup is going to have numerous multicast groups and we are looking for a way for select users to be able to broadcast/multicast other than with an assigned DSS key on Yealink phones.

Have you actually attempted this yet ? as to initiate paging you can dial a star-code/calling the virtual extension number - see this guide: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/ring-groups-paging-intercom/

I can't see any reason this would not be allowed through the soft-client, so please advise as to the behavior if you have already tested.

You could also look at creating the code as a custom BLF as the client for Windows does support a BLF side panel as well.
