I am hoping that someone will be able to help us, we have a server running sbs2003 and 3CX which was running fine from a clean install.
However after the weekend the phone system stopped working as the database service had shutdown, after several attempts to restart the service all failed, I decided to uninstall the software, restarted the server and downloaded 3CX 5.1 4510 build and then re-installed, all was going ok but the install stops about half way through, even attempted to install version 6 but still fails at the same place, the system does not give any error messages but the install has ended.
The only common error is that the 3cx database service fails to start, I have even reset the password for the phonesystem user account but still fails to start.
Not sure if any microsoft updates may have caused this problem.
Any help or advise will help.
