Install stops after "Installing 3CX Phonesystem Web Ser

Hi!

Why does the 3CX Phonesystem 2.0 install program stop doing anything after "Installing 3CX PhoneSystem Web Server" ???
It just stop and does anything! Even if i wait the whole day

My system specs:

Windows XP Pro SP2
AMD Duron 800Mhz
512Mb RAM
over 40Gb of HD:s...

Sorry to hear about you problems. It seems as if it is (for some reason) failing on the webserver installation.

Unfortunatly there is no way of pin pointing the issue, since the possible causes are limitless, but mainly it should come down to conflicting software. It is also highly possible the WebService just cannot start because some other software is already occupying the port on which apache needs to listen. Is TCP port 5481 already occupied ?

If you are willing to see the problem in more detail you can execute manually in command line the following:

c:\Program Files\3CX\Bin\Apache\bin\Apache.exe -n "3CX PhoneSystem Web Server" -k install

This will execute apache's install, you might be able to see some error messages from the Apache installer.
