Hello,

I need to be able to have a popup on incoming calls to collect some call information (Name, Department, Claim Number), then be able to save this data and format it in a neat way for billing purposes.

What is the easiest way of achieving this? Thanks!

Thank you for the reply, but these CRMs just provide the basics. Are they configurable to the point of being able to obtain and write down different information, on different fields for each specific customer, then format this information neatly for billing purposes? Like I mentioned, I need to be able to collect insurance claim information, then save that. For a medical customer I need to collect the medical record, department, name of the person calling, then display this information neatly on a PDF invoice. Thanks!

The CRM integration can do a lot for you. You can write your own integrations with the CRM Template Designer.

For the things that can't be done via that, you can probably use the CFD (Call Flow Designer). That thing is crazy powerful.

As Marco@ mentioned, you can easily perform a screen pop PROVIDED your CRM can do what you need simply by routing to a specific page and passing in the phone number as a parameter. If that is not an option, then other approaches may be possible. However, I don't believe you can what you want with the Call Flow Designer alone. Further, the built-in server-side template has a very limited list of things it can do. It seems likely you will need to build a custom solution.
