Hi,

I hope you can help.

I have set up a Twilio Integration with 3CX as per the step-by-step guide: https://www.3cx.com/docs/sip-trunk/twilio/

However, despite this, the customer is unable to send Outbound SMS' via the 3CX Web Client.

Strangely, Inbound SMS messages work without issue.

I have created integrations of this nature in the past that operate without issue and when comparing them against one another, I see no difference.

Has anyone experienced this in the past? Or have any suggestions on how to resolve?

All the best,

Reece

Hello Reece,

When you can receive but cannot send then the usual suspect is the Account SID and Auth Token. Double check those again and make sure they are correct. Check for extra spaces etc.
Also check that your DIDs are formatted correctly.

Hi Yiannis,

Thank you for getting back to me on this!

I have double-checked the Account SID and Auth. Token and both of these are correct (identical to those shown on Twilio with no extra spaces on either side).

Furthermore, I have checked the formatting of the DIDs and these are also identical as shown on Twilio +44.... and +1... respectively.

Are there any further suggestions you could make?

All the best,

Reece

The next step is to look at the logs and see if you get an error. The log you should be looking is the management console log.
Make sure you are in Verbose logging.
You can also contact Twilio at the same time to see if they are seeing any errors on their end. Twilio also has logs in their customer portal. You can also have a look there.

Were you able to fix this? I have same issue. Twilio is saying that the outgoing messages are not receiving the "from number."

Are you using +E164 number format?
