Solved Integration with external application

In post https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/external-application-and-calltriggercmd.86244/ I already adressed that we have the need to integrate with applications that do not offer a web-api or can be triggered by an URL.

Is it possible to use the V18 Windows Desktop App to integrate with a local application? E.g. to open an EXE like this:


Until now we still rely on the old V16 Windows App which is already not longer supported and doesn't work 100% with our V18 PBX.

For the V18 Windows Desktop App it should be easily possible to start a local installed application.

It's actually possible, you should find this option under "More Options >> Settings >> Audio/Video" and scroll down:

I never would expect to find this setting under "More Options >> Settings >> Audio/Video". is there any specific reason why it is "hidden" here?
