Integration with web CRM

Hi,

We have an on-premise installation of 3CX server and we are looking for ways to integrate 3CX with our existing Windows and Web app. We want to integrate calling and receiving calls functionality into our apps, so user doesn’t have to switch to external app to make a call.

In windows app - we managed to integrate using Ozeki VOIP C# library and that is working fine. But, we have problems integrating our web app since 3CX doesn’t support SIP over WebSocket. Can you give us some information will your product support that feature - is it planned?

If not - is there a way to integrate your web client into our web app using an iframe. It would be great if we could put webclient in an iframe and get events from it on incoming/outgoing call, call summary. That way we would be able to react to events from dialer in our web app.

I have read the documentation on your website about Integrating CRM with the 3CX api using rest requests (hooks) to our endpoints, but we would like to have more tight integration than that - we want phone dialer to be the part of our app, just like we were able to do with Windows app.

Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment.

A possible solution would be that you create a WebRTC <> SIP gateway using that C# library, so your web application calls this gateway, and then it converts this to a SIP call to 3CX. Just an idea.
