Good day --

We have a client that has the requirement to have calls from their in-place system going through 3CX, they have a PBX set up locally in their environment, which is set up with intergrations for a specific system that does their billing, and they need to have the calls made by extensions on that PBX, flowing through 3CX.

We have the SIP Trunk set up on 3CX and they would just like to have a SIP Trunk between 3CX and their PBX, basically?

Is this possible and is someone able to help advise how?

Our 3CX Server details are:
Product: Enterprise Annual
Version: 18.0 (Build 965)

Regards,

You would probably want to use a 3CX Bridge trunk, with the Master at the 3CX end, allowing the other PBX to register to it. While this was supported (Bridge to a non-3CX PBX) in the past, it is no longer. Only 3CX to 3CX is supported.

However, there is an archive of the previously posted 3CX page on setting this up to an asterisk PBX, which may be of some help.

https://web.archive.org/web/20161213151353/http://www.3cx.com/docs/bridging-asterisk-pbx/

While this has been attempted, with limited success with some PBXs, not all features work as desired, which was probably the reason for dropping support.

Good luck
