internal call to ring group only calls softphones, not handsets

Hi all,

Just as the title states. I make a call (internally) to a ring group, but only the desktop softphones ring, and the handsets do not. Why would this be?

There are a number of possible reasons, but please help us help you. We need a bit more information about the environment.

What version of 3CX are you running (full version number)?
On-premise or cloud hosted?
Are the soft clients configured to ring through to the phone?
Can you make direct calls to the handsets (int-int / ext-int) ?
Are the handsets on 3CX compatibility list?

Please reply and I'm sure people will be able to offer some insight.
