INTERNATIONAL Caller ID

Hi Folks,

Have now put our new 3CX install into production and it's generally working very well. I have disabled APPENDCIDQUEUE and PREPENDNAMETOCID in Parameters, so that just the number is sent to our main Ring Group as caller id.

In the main this works just fine for all types of telephone numbers. It would seem however that a few of our international incoming calls (we get a lot), have a CID of INTERNATIONAL. 3cxPhone shows the number underneath, but our Snom phones only show INTERNATIONAL.

I can't work out where this is coming from, as for the most part we receive just the number as expected (even for international calls). Any ideas?

Depending on where you are located (name display is also sent), then the name may be added by your provider. Check the 3CX server log right after an "International" call to see if the name is being received at the same time as the number.
