Solved International SMS with flowroute

Is there a way to implement internal SMS via flowroute. We already have SMS configured and works great for North America SMS messaging however we need to be able to message a UK number however it seems like SMS forces a +1 which doesn't work for UK numbers.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Are you referring to the number you are sending to? If yes, what happens exactly when you try to send an SMS to a UK number? Do you mean that you are you not able to enter the number at all or are you sending it but it is not being received on the other end? You may need to check if there are any restrictions on the SMS Provider's end.

When the user creates an SMS, they tried putting in just the UK number, they get an error saying they need to add + at the start. So they re-write the number with +44 (country code) and the UK number, it allows them to compose the message however then there is an error when sending and in the 3CX log, it shows +1+44UK number

As I recall does FlowRoute not support SMS outside of the US/CA.
Please contact their support for clarification.

For anyone else wondering why they might be facing the same issue, @CPS_JG has confirmed that he came in touch with Flowroute who in turn confirmed that they do not support International SMS as mr Stefan mentioned.
