Hi,

I'm encountering an error when restoring a backup during the installation of a new 3CX system.

To put this in context:
As part of the migration of our 3CX system from version 18 to version 20, we proceed by creating a new VM from the latest 3CX ISO. We then restore the backup when proposed by the installation wizard.
The backup file is loaded correctly. However, after configuring the ports, the following error appears:
“Invalid reply (MailServerUserName)”.

Do you have any idea what this is?
Thanks in advance,

Do you use 3CX SMTP service or a custom SMTP?

Hi @Anion,

We use 3CX SMTP.

Will send you a PM for this

Hi,

I realized I'd made a mistake when I replied to @Anion.
In fact, historically it had a configuration on a Microsoft SMTP.
When I switched back to the 3CX SMTP servers, the restoration was successful.

Thank you very much for your help!
