Sometimes we have participants who are having trouble/failing with Dial-In/Conference-ID. How is it possible to involve such participants (audio only) ? For example a Dial-Out to the participant ?

Can i (moderator/admin of the webmeeting) call them via webclient and transfer them to the webmeeting ? Or can someone of our staff dial-in the webmeeting and then transfer the call to the participant ? Or does anyone know a workaround/solution for this problem ?

Hi,

Yes you can. As you notice, the meeting has its own ID which means you can call someone from your extension and transfer them into the meeting to number 700*your_meeting_ID

So for example here I would call the participant, then blind transfer them into 700*3402094

Hi John,

thank you so much ! Works perfect. That is what I was looking for !

@JohnS_3CX - Does this work also for the external conference dialin, i.e. in your example above?

I would be: +17778630161,,700,,3442094

You ccan modify the ivitation template to include the link for direct dialing

Thanks, why are items like this not in the documentation ( or perhaps I missed it).

Now all we need is for the webmeeting to merge audio where dialing in and using webmeeting for video. (Ala zoom Webex etc)

This already exists, you will notice there is a Webmeeting Bridge in your trunks section.

Make sure all the correct ports are open though, otherwise the merge will fail.

Afraid it doesn't or you have misunderstood.

Currently join a webmeeting with audio / video.
Person may also choose to dialin via telphone line (due to laggy / bad quality audio sometimes)

They have to remember to mute their computer audio, otherwise audio feedback for everybody.

The feature I refer to (ala Zoom) is to enter what Zoom calls a "participant ID" so that it mutes the computer audio automatically when you join via landline also.
This feature is not currently in Webmeetings and would be great if it was.

Possible with WebMeeting (webrtc)?

Sorry it was not clear and I misunderstood.

The muting is not automatic I'm afraid, you have to do it manually in case you choose to dial in.

Thanks John, any plans to implement?
