Hi,

For 2 years now we have got the 3CX PBX running and we never had problems, but now we have got this strange thing. Sometimes there is a IP Address stored on the IP blacklist because of too many failed authenticationsand that's ok.

But now we have got some IP addresses that keeps getting stored while it is already on the blacklist. See my printscreen... Does any one knowes why this is and why it's not blocked by the first stored IP address?

Before 1 stored IP address was enough to block this from further attacks.

you don't say if you are running v11, 12, 12.5, ?

Oh sorry, my bad. We are running v12.

Have you been able to reboot? As an IT guy, I sometimes cringe that I often use that as a first defense... but so many times it works. :)

Well.... I thougt about it, but it's not the first thing I wanted to do ;)
I'll try it after office hours today. I'll let you know asap.

Hi, Thanks for the tip craigreilly.
After rebooting the whole system the IP Blacklist looks just how it should be! Just one record per IP address :D

very strange indeed. glad it worked out for you.
