How do I get the phones to report their LAN ip in the ip section of the phones page? Sometimes it reports the LAN ip, most of the time it reports the WAN ip it's using to get to the internet.

Thanks.

Remote STUN phones will show the public ip and not the local.
Using an SBC will show you the local ip of the phone and the local ip of the SBC.

well this site is 100% remote stun. :/ That makes no sense according to your reply.

The phones are provisioned as STUN correct?

So the public ip will be shown there not the local ip of the remote location.

Extensions in 400 range, where are located? Is there a VPN?

So all are on the same location but provisioned as STUN correct?
Note that for the STUN you need additional configuration on your firewall. If they send the local ip, this is a misconfiguration on your network. Keep in mind that STUN is not a supported method and it is advised to use SBC for remote provisioning.

Yep all our sites and phones at all pbx's we manage are STUN to a cloud hosted pbx. We just make sure none of the ports overlap on each extension.

This is not something that i can confirm. As you can see this affects specific extensions. Maybe you should check on your proxy settings.
