IP Phone GrandStream & 3CX

Hi all,

I have case config device ip phone GrandStream Model 1610 with 3CX System, specific information is as follows:

• I configured the extension 1060 to ip phone device and softphone
• IP Phone & SoftPhone connect to 3CX System via internet
• IP Phone & SoftPhone call and receive calls from extension other ==> OK.

But:

• From SoftPhone call outbound ==> OK
• From IP Phone call outbound:
  • IP Phone display: 404
  • Logs on system 3CX:
    • [Flow] Target endpoint for 0972648405 can not be built!
    • Call(C:540): Call to <sip:[email protected]:5060> has failed; Cause: 408 Request Timeout/INVITE from local

If the GS set can call other extensions, and the only issue is with external calls, then there may be a problem with outbound rules, and specifically how they deal with the number(s) being dialled. This should affect calls from all sets if they are dialling the same number(s). Check the 3CX Activity Log.

Like leejor mentioned, can you call other extensions or is the issue only with outbound calls?
Also is the grandstream phone manually provisioned as a remote extension?
