IP to analog phone + optical/accustic extender?

Hello, we are in the process of changing over from our old telefon system (PBX) to our new 3CX.
We are on a good way, but we have a little technical problem, which I do not know how to solve.

We have production halls and our machines can be very loud. Therefor our current analog telephones are connected to an optical and accustic extender, so that our people on the machines can see or hear when someone is calling.

I do not find a solution to set this up with our 3CX, maybe someone of you can help?

It does not matter if there is an IP only solution for it, or if we need an IP to analaog converter with an included relay to connect external optical/accustic extender.

you'll need an FXS adapter to allow you to use your analogue equipment on the 3CX.

You can find a list of supported adapters by going to MGMT console > Advanced > FXS/DECT

I would use something like a Cisco SPA 112

Hello and thank you for your answer. I know there are devices from Cisco or Grandstream to convert IP to analog. But I would need additional pins or relay on such a device to connect external signal extenders.
Similar to SNOM PA1 for announcements, there are also pins which you can control by the software of the PA1.
It would work with SNOM PA1, but I do not need the announcements feature and the applifier of the PA1. Hope to find a cheaper solution.

If you currently use analogue telephones, simply connected to a phone line from your current PBX, then an ATA will provide the same physical properties of that phone line. If the "optical and acoustic extender" you are currently using is somehow wired direct to a "special" circuit on your PBX and not connected to a phone line, then some other sort of intermediate adapter, attached to the ATA may be required.

Many "off the shelf" loud ringers or flashing lamp adapters, will use the 90 VAC ringing voltage (which an ATA will provide) to operate a relay, thus triggering a device. If you do a search, there are a number of companies offering such a device which allows line voltage lamps or bells, to be operated.

Thank you Leejor, your solution might be an option for us. We would prefer a all in one box solution (from VOIP to Analaog and such relay contacts). But at least we have an option now. Thank you
