Is there a VOIP gateway products list that support 3cx?

I want to make sure what kind of products that can support 3cx before I run into a shop and buy it.

any suggestion?

I only need 2 fxs to connect 1 phone and 1 fax.

If your question is what type of FXS adapters are compatible with 3CX - I use Linksys PAP2s. They have been very consistent and reliable. I have not used a fax machine on this system however, and given all the discussions on the Forum regarding the transmission rates required, would suggest some research if this function is required by you.

Is there an actual published list of FXS adapters? I am not aware of one at this time though if I am in error I am confident another member will update us.

Grandstream is a 3CX partner or something like that so all their products should be compatible.
Linksys while others have great success others have spent countless hours trying to get them to work.
Do a search on the model you're looking for and see what comes up.

Faxing is hit or miss with VoIP. I had a client using Vonage over DSL and had 98% success in faxing. Once in a while it would drop and start over.

I don't disagree 5qg4 but I have also learnt that someone always knows more. For example in this thread http://www.3cx.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1708&highlight=Fax I get the impression that "try your luck" is the final answer. I am not qualified to give absolute answers, I can only suggest the adapters I am happy with, and research for the rest.

Hi Mirzab,

I not sure the status of FAX over VoIP provider( both in and out).

We can send out FAX to remote FAX machine via analog PSTN line. However, the incoming FAX via analog PSTN line still not works.

This is correct, but it is comming I been told. Give it time.

In the mean time you can get pretty good results using G711a, but that will not go through 3CX that will go to the port on the SPA.

We are working on an implementation of fax and it will be in one of our upcoming releases so 3CX PBX will very soon have fax support
