isolate user extension

im using my 3cx for multiple business usage with only one 3cx setup and providing extension access to one of my colleague

i want to isolate the capacity for one extension to join the others and see if they are online or not

do you think that is something possible ?

It’s not really designed for multiple businesses to share, however you can put them in separate groups (departments in v20) and they can’t see each other as online. They can however call each other. In v18 groups are a button on the Users page.

Probably not supported and advised against and I cant say if this feature will disappear in future.

If you go to parameters and search for MCM and change the value to 1, you can isolate groups/departments so they cannot call out of their group.
