Hello,

I try to connect a 3CX (V18 U3) and an Avaya IP office (R11.0) with a SIP Trunk
When I call from the IPO Phone (John 8003) to 3CX phone (Bob 4001) --> the communication is ok and it show (on the 3CX phone) John - 8003
When I call from the 3CX phone (Bob 4001) to 3CX phone IPO Phone (John 8003) --> the communication is ok but it show (on the IPO phone) Bob - 90009
90009
is the Main Trunk Number of the SIP Trunk.
I had change ALL the parameters in the 3CX SIP Trunk Outbond tab but it still send to the IP Office : "90009" instead of 4001 :

Have you a clue ?

Are you using a bridge trunk? If not, and you have not yet done so, you might try putting a DID number in the outbound caller ID setting for the extension. If you put just the extension number, it may cause other outbound calls to fail. You might also make use of Wireshark to see if the caller ID is being send in another field.

Hello Leejor,
No, I don't use Bridge Trunk. I use a "Generic SIP Trunk"
I tried to put DID number in the outbound caller ID setting for the extension but that not change the issue....
I will try Wireshark asap

Hi Leejor,
Finaly, I follow your tip and I tried to connect IP¨Office and 3CX using a 3CX "Bridge".
But, I got an issue about the authentication

I setup the 3CX Bridge and the IP Office SIP Line with the same User and Password, of course

IP Office log :
Sip: SIP Line (20) parameter 10001 registration has failed due to authentication, setting retry timer to 960 secs

3CX log :
[CM102001]: Authentication failed for AuthFail Recv Req REGISTER from 192.168.24.101:5060

An idea ?

Hi,
I recreated the Bridge and it's working now.....
