Hi there,

Our 3CX system was working perfectly until we recently encountered server storage issues. After resolving and updating the storage, we noticed that when scanning the QR code for the mobile app, it gets stuck on "Connecting" instead of displaying "Ready for Calls" as expected.

We've run the 3CX Firewall Checker, and it passed successfully. However, the issue with the mobile app persists.

Kindly advise on how best to resolve this.

For Connecting only you should check port 5090, ie tunnel, to be open.

And make sure all services are up and running.

Thank you for your support.

Following up on the issue, we’ve confirmed that port 5090 is open, and the Firewall Checker passes successfully. However, the mobile app remains stuck on "Connecting".

We’d appreciate further guidance on what additional checks or configurations may be required to resolve this issue.

Hello @swings
Could you confirm whether you're using a Wi-Fi or mobile network connection? Have you tried both?
Also, which mobile application are you using (Android, IOS) , and what version is it ?
Lastly, does this issue occur for all users or only specific ones?

Hi AbdullaR
Yes, I've tried both network connections. I'm using both Android and iOS, version 18. It's affecting all users.

From the client device (Android, iPhone, Windows) run a telnet to the pbx port 5090.

What did you do to resolve the issue?

@eotero Are you seeing it on one phone or all phones? We had one person at one client, who had to uninstall and reinstall the app.
