Hi!

So if I understand the problem correctly, you have 2 DIDs and have created 2 Inbound Rules:
  • Inbound Rule A ---> IVR
  • Inbound Rule A ---> Extension
But, regardless what number is dialed, it always goes to the IVR?

If this is what is happening, can you tell me in what number format you have put the DIDs in SIP Trunks --> DIDs tab?
Most of the times, this happens because the number format is wrong.

Check the activity log to see what number is being presented to 3cx, as above your ddi setting could be incorrect.

You can use * in the ddi number - *6789 will match 456789

"But, regardless what number is dialed, it always goes to the IVR?"
yes that is the issue!
what do you mean by number format
we put the number 01688546987 - IVR
and the number 01688546878 - EXTENTION

Have you confirmed this is the correct number being presented to 3cx from the sip provider - check the activity log

You may find the number is the main number and not the ddi number or the number is not what you think it is and the sip,provider is presenting the number in a different format

I would edit your post, to remove your number

Glad you got it fixed!

FYI, if you use a supported SIP Trunk provider from our list, for most we have guides in which we list what number format must be used.

Anyhow, setting this as 'Solved'.
