Hello everyone,

I have installed the system on a dedicated server. I encountered some issues when opening the required ports for the system to work efficiently, but now I am facing a problem with notifications on iOS devices.

I have read about many people who faced the same issue with notifications. Some were unable to resolve it, while others managed to fix it.

Please excuse my limited experience in the field of technology. I have attached a screenshot of the issue, which has the error code 50020.

Is there any way to analyze the source of the problem?

For which of your systems is this related, the 3CX FREE or the on-premise system?

The system is an on-premise installation, Professional Annual with 4 simultaneous connections.

Do you work with a 3cx partner who may open a ticket with us at 3cx support to check?

Unfortunately, I have not worked with any local partner of yours, and I don't believe there is a local partner in Palestine. Additionally, I am currently using the VitalPBX system and was interested in exploring the features of the 3CX system, especially since I am facing a technical issue with colleagues while using a third-party application like Linphone. A friend recommended that I try 3CX.

As you can see, I am encountering issues with the 3CX system's mobile application.

Hi,

in case this thread is still open /active // and it might be of interest?

- if you are trying to learn the basics of 3cx, then using a 'cloud hosted' (ie, public IP host / not behind a firewall) instance will probably be a path of less resistance than an on-prem install (ie, in your office behind a firewall)
- possibly the absolute simplest thing would be to try the "100% free SMB version" of 3cx which is hosted by 3cx, on your behalf, since this will minimize the amount of config required / the opportunity for config drama to cause unexpected issues. Once you do some basic 'kick the wheels' trial you have a better understanding of the product, with less time-effort required.
- if necessary you might have to buy a DID from a suitable VOIP_SIP carrier who is supported by 3cx. But this is arguably a trivial cost (a few dollars per month approx) to allow a test to move forward
- note also generally I would advise, in doing a test setup

-- get the free SMB version lit up
-- bind the SIP trunk
-- configure an EXT in the system, and do test outbound, inbound calling, via web-client agent first.
-- once that works, proceed to test from a softphone app client agent on smartphone (Ie, IOS or Android)
-- once that works, if desired, proceed with more traditional legacy handset voip phone config / possibly SBC integration needed. Or maybe just avoid this entirely :) if physical handset are not really needed-wanted.

In theory there are partners available who could assist you / to move forward a 3cx trial project. I am sure such service is not free, but it would probably depend on the size / scope / intent of your project and how much support was required. ie, let me know if you need more help? at the very least I can provide some suggestions via the forum, and possibly more / if suitable and of interest.

(ie, I am not sure a partner must be geographically near to you in order to help)

Hope this is possibly of some use.

Tim
