Hi All,

Does anyone know if its possible to adjust the IVR to answer on say 2 rings instead of instantly?

Thanks,
Quenten

You may have to "route" though an extension set to forward off the call after a given time (the length of two rings, if desired). As you want the extension to actually ring (twice), and not immediately forward to the IVR, it would (unfortunately) have to be a registered device.

You can route the calls to a Ring Group, and the Destination if no answer would be your IVR. We use this often for Incoming Calls so that a Ring Group (even if it's just the Receptionist/Operator extension) has a chance to answer calls before it goes to the Open Digital Receptionist.

Create a dummy IVR.
For recording, use the USProgresstone.wav file that comes with 3CX.
Under "Destination for no or invalid input", define the number of seconds you want the IVR to play the progresstone for.
Then route the call to the desired destination.
