Hello guys, I'm new to this so bear with me.
Tried to restore settings from one system to another (from Asterisk 1.6 to 1.8) and it failed and crashed my new system, I found out later that you can't restore a backup from an earlier system, learnt that the hard way
My question is, I need to transfer the main greeting from that old system to the new one and I don't want to deal with backup/restore and also don't want to deal with fully upgrading that old system, so, is there a way to do this manually?
Let's say for example, locating those audio files, copy them to the same folder structure in new system and have Elastix to locate it in the drop down menu in IVR or Recordings menu. I read somewhere that you can't just move the IVR audio files and have Elastix magically "detect" file and that reference was in MySQL.
Basically, I'm looking forward to have that IVR file in the new system and being able to use it, backup/restore is out of the question for me.
Thanks in advance guys.
