Landline number displayed on outbound calls

We currently have a 3cx system set up which all working correctly, but i am looking to change the number that is displayed when we call somebody outside of the phone system. Is this possible, we currently have forwarding on a landline number which goes through to the 3cx phone system so that bit is in place, just want to change the outbound number

An outgoing Caller ID can not be changed when the call uses a PSTN line, or a GSM gateway, those numbers are fixed by the provider.

Many VoIP providers do allow it, but many don't, sometimes owing to government regulations on that sort of thing. In some cases, numbers can also be changed when using ISDN, but, check with your provider.
