License Edition Changes

They have to have a good speech to text API with a reasonable cost. They don't have one to our knowledge. Things are moving fast so its very possible they might have one quite soon.

But as a general strategy yes, we will be open standards towards AI providers you can choose what works best for your application. More to come in update 10 on that.

I like its simplifying versions like this.

But one question that I am confused with the answers so far (probably my bad)

We have a client who is on enterprise (soon to be Enterprise AI based on this) .... They want cloud based transcription ...

Up until this announcement I would have moved them up to Enterprise+ ...

After this upcoming change will their no longer be an option in any version for "3cx cloud transcription" and we will have to source this elsewhere and link it into 3cx ?

tldr: this screenshot will no longer be possible ?

@comsyco-gavin , you are mostly correct (that option will still exist to process voicemails at this time) - if you need further clarification, your sales contact should be able to assist.

Yes now you just have to use Grok or OpenAI. Grok does a great job at a better price, so we did not want to invest anymore in our own cloud transcription platform it made no sense.

Also, you had to buy a whole package if you don't use up the minutes it didn't make sense. Lastly transcription prices are likely to come down drastically in the coming year.

You don't really have to source anything. Its a matter of creating an account on Grok, them inputting their credit card details and off you go. Now I will take off my Grok Sales Hat and put the 3Cx one back on.
