3CX to support Grok for transcription in update 9.

AI is evolving fast and so is 3CX. We’re making a number of updates to our editions to better reflect how AI features are delivered and priced today. This includes changes to ENT+, support for providers like Grok, simpler edition naming and updated pricing and discounts. Read...

Does this mean we will get to see Grok AI agents as well?

Quite a bit more news to come in regards to AI. We are testing and checking best options and will announce more soon. I prefer to ensure everything works before we announce.

I really like the simplicity of having 3 editions now. Love the new AI features coming. I see our ENT + edition customer say Ai now in the Portal, does mean those old ENT+ customer will receive the Ai Edition features soon?

AI Edition is the Enterprise edition renamed.

ENT+ was Enterprise, plus cloud transcription.

Sorry but I don't really get it, does that mean that "3CX cloud transcription subscription" that we had with ENT+ will be no more available ? Or the "AI" version include it anyway ?

Hi @KoesioOccitanieTech,

  • Existing ENT+:
    • 3CX Cloud Transcription
      • will keep working until the credits expire or the license key is up for renewal

  • AI Edition (formerly ENT AI)
    • 3CX Local Transcription
      • remains available with 16SC+ AI Edition

So we are losing the stereo mode if we don't invest on the 3CX local transcription ?

pricing page directly shows 10% discounted price by default. but this is applicable for new license only .

so what about prices for renewal of existing key ?

customer can be misguided and will have argeuent with partner for price dispcrapancy

kindly help me to clear this.

Any plans on making the Xapi/Call API accessible on 3CX PRO? The API and MCUs are the only thing that keeps us using 3CX AI but we don't utilize any of the AI features. We could refrain from using onboard MCU but the API is just too convenient.

Hi @etelecom

Thank you for your feedback!

We have added a ‘3CX Prices’ button to the blue Spring Promotion banner, which displays our price list without discounts to avoid confusion.

Hello,

In this article, you mention the future evolution of the Enterprise edition toward an AI‑oriented edition.
Will the non‑AI‑related features, currently available only in the Enterprise edition, eventually be integrated into the Pro edition?

For example:

- Custom logo on IP phones
- Skill‑based routing
- Start/stop recording permissions

Thank you in advance for your clarification.

Kind regards,
Alain

Hi,
just to make sure I follow it correctly:
"The NFR Ent Plus subscription will be phased out within the coming months. These will be replaced with the AI Edition."

Does that mean that the original NFR key will be converted to commercial / AI Edition?
If so, it's not a big deal. As mentioned, I just want to make sure I follow the announcement correctly.

Thanks!

No everything remains the same its just a name change. As per the blog post. The NFR will become the AI edition yes as it was before.

Hello,

It is unfortunate that non‑AI features included in the Enterprise version are not integrated into the Pro version.

I have no clients who are interested in AI features. However, several clients are asking for the ability to customize the logo on phones and for the skills‑based routing feature.

As a result, we are forced to subscribe to the “AI” edition solely for two or three call center–related features that actually have nothing to do with AI.

"AI Edition" is just the Enterprise renamed. Just sell it as that if you want. I don't see how that's a problem, it's just naming.

3CX to support Grok for transcription

Are there any plans to expland the list of native AI intergrations to include Claude?
