Hello World,

Today, we exceeded our license level of 96 sim calls. In the process of troubleshooting this to see if these were legitimate calls - I would like to know if there is a SQL query I can run to see what extensions are "call forwarded". We have definitely seen issues, in the past, where a staff member would incorrectly configure call forwarding and create a loop.

TIA,

Amir

Can you not just run a call report?

Coming from a Cisco environment, we could run a single SQL query against our CUCM db and it would return a list of specific phones where the staff member had enabled "call forward all".

As a reminder to myself and perhaps others who are relatively new to 3CX - as of a few releases ago, 3CX disallowed call forwarding to be enabled directly on the physical deskphone. Which I believe is a good thing - as it prevents the very issue I'm trying to investigate - call forwarding loops created by call queue agents - where an agent configures their extension to loop right back to the call queue.

As mentioned above, 3CX doesn't allow end users to configure call forward all on deskphones (without a custom template) - but 3CX does allow call forwarding to be configured in the web client.

So I'm wondering if anyone has been able to figure out how to quickly ascertain what extensions are in a call forward all state - without reviewing call reports. In our case, we did over 7,350 calls yesterday!
