Linking with AD

I have 3CX 15.5 running with about 160 extensions with extensions having been gradually created over a year or so. Now we are looking at linking with AD. What happens to the existing extensions? They do not currently have extension numbers in AD but could be added but we don't want to upset any of their existing configurations but would like to import new users as they are created.

Please note that once you connect to AD you will be prompt to select which users you want to import. Select only the users you want to import so that old users are not affected. Since you do not to currently have extensions numbers in users that are already created they will not be affected. Make sure that the new users have extension numbers that do not overlap with the existing extensions. And as always before applying major changes performing a full backup is always good practice.
