Linksys SPA-3102 and External Extensions

Hello.

I am experiencing few problems with Linksys SPA-3102 and External Extensions.

Problem 01: Just installed Linksys SPA-3102. 3CX forum was great help for me to install the device. Thank you every one. I am able to receive incoming calls through Linksys SPA-3102 and Auto Attendant (800 in my 3CX settings) is picking up, no problem with incoming calls. I am unable to make any calls from any of the extensions using Linksys SPA-3102. I made outgoing call rules, where # 8 before any number(s) dialed should route the call(s) through Linksys SPA-3102. Unfortunately out going is not working at all. Below are the settings in Linksys SPA-3102:

Problem 02: I am unable to use the External Extensions properly. Extensions will register, but no AUDIO either way. I have opened ports 7000-7500, 9000-9049, 3478, even 16000-16999. Nothing is giving AUDIO either way. Tried to use STUN server 80.239.235.209 with no luck. D-Link DI524 Firewall DMZ has the 3CX server computer open to internet. No Luck. The error I am getting is - “in-band DTMF tone detection is turned off”.

Please advice. Thank you in advance for all the help.

Just to give you update that the ERROR I am getting is:

11:13:42.281 CallConf::Rejected [CM103005] Call(44) is rejected: Not Found
11:13:42.281 StratInOut::onCancel [CM104008] Call(44): Call from Ext.100 to 4407777 terminated; cause: 404 Not Found; from IP:192.168.0.105
11:13:42.187 CallConf::onIncoming [CM103002] Call(44): Incoming call from 100 (Ext.100) to sip:[email protected]:5060

Please advice.
 
Hello.

I have more problems now. I just upgraded to 3.1 and now I do not have any sound in outgoing calls (using VoIP). I am able to make calls, but I do not hear any thing from other end. I am still unable to make calls through PSTN from any extension (VoIP-To-PSTN).

Please advice.
 
excellent post mate, now we getting somewhere.

Ok looking at your PSTN line first:

Proxy and registration:
Proxy: 192.168.0.101 (ditch the SIP port from there)
Outbound proxy: 192.168.0.101 (not really needed but i found having it creates less troubles.
Registry Expiry: 240 (Bring it down to that)


Voip Caller Default DP: Set it to 1.

Line 1.

Proxy, again ditch the sip port. But do you need a line 1? As the VSP is directly configured in 3CX no need to put it in the SPA


Your dial plan try to use:
(000S0<:@gw0>|106S0<:@gw0>|183[12]x.|1[38]xxxxxxxxS0<:@gw0>|13[1-9]xxxS0<:@gw0>|1[9]xxxxxxxxS0<:@gw0>|0[23478]xxxxxxxxS0|[2-9]xxxxxxxS0|001xxxx.S5|111S0|xxx.<:@gw0>|*xx.|<#,:>x.<:@gw0>)

See if that works, you have not setup a gateway hence it might get lost in all of it.

Enable IP dialing.

You should be good from here on in.

(I said SHOULD not saying you ARE :-))
 
Hello and thank you for the reply. I followed what you advised, but still no luck. The error I am getting is:

What supposed to be on IP 192.168.0.105 ?
 
Sorry, 192.168.0.105 is the Linksys SPS-3102.
 
I get the same problem also using v.3.1.2434 (3cx) and SPA firmware 5.1.7 . Like you I cannot dial out. I get incoming fine. Couldn't find any solutions on the forum although this has happened to many.

I found the fix:

3cx Phone Syatem -> Lines Management -> Edit Gateway -> Location of destination number -> Un-check 'Request-Line-URI' field (02nd option).

I do have few other problems:

01) When I press 8 (I added outgoing call rules #8 to be used for Lynksys SPA3102) there is a delay of few seconds before I get the dial tone from SPA-3102 for local PSTN Line.

02) Still unable to use extensions outside my home. No audio either way.

Please advice. Thanks a lot every one and ITFarmer.
 
That didn't do it for me. Was this the only change you did with the "Request-Line-URI" field? I mean, are all your other settings still the same as the PDF you posted for Line1 and PSTN?

I followed what ITFarmer suggested first. I will post my setup shortly.
 
I was suffering through my own setup issues and after several tries have reached a point that I am experiencing the exact errors that started this thread however, unlike nahidul I could not dial out. I followed the steps proposed by itfarmer here but with no additional success. I then followed

proposed by nahidul and PRESTO, error gone!

I can now apparently access the line but when I dial a number I get the line showing orange (on Line Status screen) but only dial tone on phone, and normal "off hook" tone after some seconds. Logs show no errors and seem to show proper process. Dial out being tested on a softphone that works fine on my alternate VoIP provider.

Any suggestions please? I seem to remember another thread with some great suggestions from itfarmer but I cannot seem to find the section right now.

Just an update now I was able to spend a few minutes. The dial tone I am hearing is the actual dial tone of the PSTN Line outbound. If I dial again on the softphone the call goes through. I would speculate that the dial information is sent from 3CX to the SPA3102 before the FXO port is opened or possibly before the Vonage adapter responds with a dial tone to the opened FXO port. Is there a way to delay the dial info throught the 3102? Any other suggestions?

Aug 10 - update - Inbound & outbound works for me but I have not been able to work out how to just dial right out based on rules. At present I have setup Press 8 for PSTN Line, wait for dial tone, then dial. I am unable to work out how to automate this sequence so that I can pickup any extension and just dial. I am hoping that 3CX support may be able to show me where my setup differs from theirs, or hopefully someone who has it fixed can help - PLEASE!

we have another thread with the same issue call spa 3102 help and we are still looking for a fix. Please advise if you come up with a solution
