linksys spa3000 hardphone ata

I have setup my server
192.168.43.1


I have setup two softphone clients on two computers
192.168.43.2 ext 1207
192.168.43.4 ext 1205

I havea linksys spa3000 gateway
192.168.43.3

and connected to that gateway is a hardphone, old sytle handset.

I have followed the intructions on how to configure my gateway

and i am still not having any luck.

Just to be more clear, i am not trying to get a pstn line through the system just to get the hardphone to be another extension on the internal network
ext 1212

so my first question is...
1. Is the setup in the url above the correct setting for simply and internal network extension?
1.1 If it is what could i be doing wrong, that the extension doesn't register.

2. If its not correct does anybody know where i can find the correct settings?

The old style handset, if that is a NON IP PHONE it will not work, the FXO port does not make an analogue phone into a SIP phone, so what happens is actually fully normal.

No worries,

Your touch phone, can do the following things (if configured correctly):
- Make calls out:
-- Via VOIP provider without using 3CX
-- Via PSTN either direct or if VOIP provider is not available
- Rings when someone calls the PSTN line

What it cannot do is:
- Work as an extension in 3CX, well not to my knowledge anyway.

Issue you have:
The VOIP provider needs to be configured in the SPA, this is an issue because you configure this in 3CX instead of the SPA when you have a 3cx system.
3CX registers with the VOIP provider.
