I have setup a PSTN Gateway using a Linksys SPA3012. I used the instructions for the Sipura 3000 on the 3CX site to configure the SPA 3012. It registers fine and I can send a PSTN call out through it from a softphone or the analogue phone on the SPA3012's Line 1.

However, I cannot seem to be able to recieve PSTN calls from the SPA3012. All I get is "CallConf::Rejected: Call (C:B) is rejected: Caller is not allowed". I have tried some of the advise from other posts with no luck.

Has anyone got this configuration working? If so what is the trick.

I'm currently running Beta 5 on a new installation. I had the same issues on Beta 3 & 4.

Many thanks.

Few things to check.
VOIP provider that seems to be working as you can make out bound calls.
PSTN provider, you need to configure one of those to receive PSTN incomming calls.

Question: is your PSTN line/provider registred?

hi there itFarmer, thx for sharing the PSTN line configuration, that will help me as I am in the process these days of configuring SPA3102

I came across 3CX PBX just recently and I think it will simplify my life just hooking the SPA to it and let the PBX handle my phone setup arrangement rather than trying to set it up just with the SPA only which seems to be more complicated thing to do (plus I suppose with PBX one can do way more than just with SPA) I happen to run winXP as security cameras system anyway and it can handle this pbx like a cake on side

too bad I didn't see your post last night, I was configuring PSTN line in SPA going by the guide on 3CX site and it has a glitch there, two fields where it tells you to input values are swapped and that had me scratching my hair for some time... its the Subscriber Information section, the 'Display Name' and 'User ID' values are input wrong way which may not be stumbling block for some of you apprently but I do this stuff first time...

accordingly I was gonna ask if you could post here your Line1 settings too, it might be something for me to go by when things don't work, I suppose those two, the PSTN and Line1 are the two most important sections when it comes to make SPA and 3CX work together

I suppose the whole idea is to have all calls incl those that come in from outside over PSTN line of SPA to go first to 3CX and only then they might be auto forwarded to the phone connected to Line1 of the SPA right?

No worries, good to see it helped someone.

The VoIP calls (Line1 stuff) does not go to a SPA for me atm. I use my Billion for that as so my DEC phones switch to VoIP or PSTN out as available. I will change that one day but currently that is my setup it also allows me to call from VoIP to my "home" PSTN which is on the same line.

I had the Line1 working on the SPA but did not had the time to get the call quality up to scratch. I will post the settings when I get home.

You mentioned security camera's (I am getting of topic here) I have a "request" for 3cX would it not be nice to have the security camera send a "message" this could be an Email to make the phone ring (different ring ton) so you know someone is at the door :-). Currently I have this working with MediaCentre etc but would be nice to make the phone ring.

Anyway Ill post the setting tonight (in 8-9hrs or so) unless someone beats me to it.

I have one of those PCI cards that accept input from 16 videosources (8 with sound) and these cards (even the cheaper ones for 4 cameras) come with sofware that has the email messages sent out triggered by an event, like when that entrance door camera detects motion (change in its field of vision since it constantly evaluates the picture) it can send out allert also as cell phone txt or sms message, also the card has relay sensors and relay controls that could control the door or know its opened or something - really worst thing about it is doing the wiring LOL

might be too much to ask from pbx maybe but ask anyway I say it can't hurt anything as they say

some Line1 stuff would be handy, I sort of swim in the bigger picture of things and don't know what interface does what but once I make it work somehow it will become clear bit by bit and I will see my way around as the blind guy said LOL
