Hi There
I am busy testing the 3CX phone system with a few Linksys SPA942 phones.
I have successfully provisioned the phones in 3CX per extension.
The problem I have is that I need the phones to receive the provisioning URL via DHCP.
As per 3CX instructions and a few other variants, I have set our MS DHCP server to use option 66 with the following string - http://3CXPBX:5000/provisioning/$MA.xml
I have tried the above with both IP and DNS name but still have had no luck.
If I enter http://Phone_IP/admin/resync?http://PBX_IP:5000/provisioning/$MA.xml The phone succesfully picks up the provisioning and registers with the 3CX PBX.
If I manually enter http://PBX_IP:5000/provisioning/$MA.xml into the Linksys Web interface, it also works and registers successfully with the PBX
I have tried linking the phone to a syslog server, and I can not see it looking for a dhcp option at startup...
Could someone perhaps provide me with some guidance on this?
Regards
